Dare to Care Program

The 1st G CFD has partnered with Dare to Care as a food pantry to serve people needing assistance by providing them with food to take home and prepare. Food boxes will be distributed on the 3rd Friday of each month, from 2 – 6 pm (or when the food runs out). Contact Rev Wells at DaretoCare@1stGChurch.org to assist as a volunteer or with any questions.

Our Food pantry will be focused on the Arcadia, Park Hill, Iroquois, Algonquin, and Old Louisville neighborhoods.

Closure Policy: We will close anytime for inclement weather. We are also closed for all federal holidays. 

We are a Dare to Care partner agency. We are neighbors helping neighbors! It is our pleasure to serve you and our other guests to the best of our ability with the donated products we have on hand. We thank you for your patience and cooperation. 

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is:

• Disrespectful to our volunteer, other guests, or our property; or
• Intoxicated, highly agitated, violent, or causing a disturbance.
